About Us

We’ve been married for over 30 years and have been creating custom woodworking projects for nearly as long.  The manzanita trees we see on our backpacking adventures through chaparral regions became the inspiration for Manzanita Woodworks.  The natural beauty of the manzanita is distinct as it adapts to its environment with twisted shapes and bark colors which range from browns, to red, to burgundy.  Just like every manzanita is unique, so too are our products.  Bringing family and friends together to build memories is important to us and we consider this every step of the way for you - from hand selecting wood pieces, to crafting, to finishing, to sharing with you and your family.  Let the memories begin…
